About Tanabata Festival ...

Allora vorrei dare qualche informazione in più sul Festival di Tanabata, anche se so che in quasi ogni anime o manga c'è una citazione a riguardo ;).
Tanabata si svolge ogni anno in Giappone il 7 di luglio ( solo in alcune regioni il 7 di agosto).
E'una delle cinque festività più importanti dell'anno ed è detta anche la festa delle stelle. La leggenda legata ad essa ha un risvolto molto romantico : celebra infatti il ricongiungimento di due innamorati Orihime e Hikoboshi, che rappresentano le due stelle Vega e Altair.
Le usanze legate a questa festa variano da regione a regione ma solitamente si appendono ad un alberello ( bambù) delle striscioline di carta con su scritti i propri desideri. Inoltre ci si veste solitamente con gli abiti tradizionali (kimono e yukata). Una curiosità sugli abiti tradizionali: se il risvolto è sulla sinistra si sta partecipando ad una festa se invece è sulla destra purtroppo si è ad una cerimonia funebre.

Tanabata is a feast celebrated each year in Japan on the 7th of July( in few parts of the country on the 7th of August). It's one of the most important celebrations of the year and it's also named The feast of the stars.The legend about Tanabata is really romantic: it's the celebration of the reunification of two lovers  Orihime e Hikoboshi, that represent the two stars Vega and Altair.
Usually in this occasion people put on a bamboo tree pieces of paper with their wishes written on.

And also is tradition to be dressed with the kimono or the yukata.
About the kimono/yukata: if the cuff is on the left is for a feast, on the right for a funeral.
